JoomAce, maker of AceSEF and AceACL, has released two more extensions that aim to provide Joomla site administrators with an easier time dealing with database management and file transfers.

AceSQL and AceFTP are available now, and JoomAce are hoping that their new extensions will simplify the lives of Joomla admins. They should also help the budgets of anyone planning a web project since they are both being offered free of charge.

Developers describe AceSQL this way:

It's a lightweight & native Joomla component with just 80 KB file size. Despite it's small file size, the limit of AceSQL is your knowledge thanks to it's working method; query execution. You can also edit, delete or export to CSV the displayed records.

And AceFTP's capabilities are explained as follows:

AceFTP operates from Joomla back-end so you don't have to use any FTP program anymore. You can browse folders, create, edit, copy, move, delete, search, upload and download files and much more. It also has basic ACL features for Joomla 2.5.
