The first JoomlaDay in China was held recently at the German Centre in Shanghai, a multi-use space that acts as a conference center and shared office space housing companies such as eBay. Hagen Graf reports that for "this first event 110 delegates registered and 80+ attended."

The latest Joomla property to be released is called The Joomla! Events Site. This new website will be used to announce and report on Joomla events around the world. With this addition, the Joomla community will be able to more easily get information about Joomla!Day events, User Group meetings, conferences and more.

The French Joomla User Association (Association francophone des utilisateurs de Joomla) has announced the dates and location for Joomla! Day France this year, 2012.
Centered around the French speaking countries for Joomla users in Europe, Joomla Day France will be held at the Convention Center in Strasbourg during the weekend of March 24th and 25th.
In an effort to remain as globally aware and connected as the Joomla community itself, JoomlaNews.net felt it important to announce that the fifth annual Joomla Day Bangkok, originally scheduled for October 29th of last year, has been rescheduled for February 25th, 2012. The organizers at JoomlaDayNewEngland.org have announced the fourth annual Joomla Day New England, which will be "held on March 31, 2012, from 9 AM to 5 PM at the Marlboro College Graduate School in Brattleboro, Vermont." Organizers point out that they've worked on putting together a "great mix of speakers" both from within their local user group as well as from the pool of US based Joomla experts.
