Joomla! Project Informs Community with New Events Site

The latest Joomla property to be released is called The Joomla! Events Site. This new website will be used to announce and report on Joomla events around the world. With this addition, the Joomla community will be able to more easily get information about Joomla!Day events, User Group meetings, conferences and more.

May 2012 Issue of Joomla Community Magazine Out Now

Joomla.org launches Joomla Events Site

A new section of Joomla.org dedicated to presenting local and worldwide events to the Joomla community has been launched. The new site will be used to convey information such as Joomla! Days, Joomla! Conferences and Joomla! User Group meetings.

Joomla! Day Heads to Strasbourg, France

The French Joomla User Association (Association francophone des utilisateurs de Joomla) has announced the dates and location for Joomla! Day France this year, 2012.

Centered around the French speaking countries for Joomla users in Europe, Joomla Day France will be held at the Convention Center in Strasbourg during the weekend of March 24th and 25th.

The Joomla! Community Portal Announces Global Event - Pizza, Bugs and Fun

Pizza, Bugs and FunThe community leaders behind the Joomla! Community Portal have scheduled a Pizza, Bugs and Fun event for Saturday, March 3, 2012. "Our goal is to work on coding and testing issues in the CMS Issue Tracker," organizers say. There will be code to tweak, but they are also pointing out that participants don't need to be able to write code in order to help with the testing. Documentation help is also needed.
